The UK has a well-developed LGBTQ+ dating ecosystem — particularly in London, Manchester, Brighton, Edinburgh and other cities with established queer communities.
Apps: Grindr (dominant for gay men), Scruff, Hornet, HER (women and non-binary people), Feeld (open relationships and kink-friendly), Hinge and Bumble both have active LGBTQ+ sections with thoughtful identity options. OkCupid has the most comprehensive gender identity and orientation options of any major platform.
Safety: The UK has strong legal protections, but harassment can still happen online. The ability to report on all major apps is important. In real life, be particularly cautious in less urban settings.
